Thank you for the quick response. It appears that the real issue is that the iPhoto and all new Photos app won't share with each other. All the images I uploaded went right into the new Photos app and won't let me export them into iPhoto. Note: If text wrapping for an object is set to In Line with Text, Word can only align it in relation to the page or the margins.By default, pictures have this setting, and you must change the setting to align a picture with other objects. I've changed the layout of the pictures to 'Behind Text' but I still cannot view the text box. Re: Text box 'dissapears' and does not print. Just move the previously hidden graphics or text boxes where you will see them when you switch modes back to print view. For more recent versions of Word for Mac (e.g. I have Word 2011 for Mac. Using MS Word for Mac 2011. When inserting a picture into the document and applying a caption, the figure table updates nicely. When we put a caption on an image that has been copy-pasted into the document, or on a shape drawing, it does not appear when the figure table is updated.
I am having trouble with the copy/paste function between Excel and Word. I am trying to paste a spreadsheet from Excel into a Word document, but it needs to fit on ONE page. I have looked on other forums at tons of other people's threads and tried everything. I can get it to fit to one page by copying as a picture or paste special but, as far as I can tell, there is no way to size it so that the quality is intact. I'm doing this for my boss, and every time we size it to fit, it ends up looking like (in her words exactly) 'a cake that has fallen in on itself..short and fat' (stretching of the words and figures, even when using the corner instead of the sides). Please help me! I've tried regular copy/paste, but when I try and make it fit on one page, I only have so much room to adjust the size.
I have MS on my computer, so when I try these things out, they work. I don't have the information she wants done, so I improvise with my own to test it out, and it always seems to work, but when I go into her office with her Mac and the information to be used, it NEVER WORKS!!!!!
I am very frustrated and after two days of this, I'm ready to pull out my hair.
Thanks in advance for your gracious advice!!

Hello Everyone,
I need help with Microsoft Word 2011 for Mac, (Mac OS 10.6.8). Whenever I drag image files from my desktop to the bottom of a Word document that has a paragraph of writing, the image files seem to slip down to another page below that or they overlap each other when I press the return or delete keys to position the writing and images on the document. I simply want the image files to move with the text when I press return or delete ( moving page elements either up or down). I know how to group image files and have done that for more than one image file.I have tried the following but without any success:
Click on the selected image file > Format Pictures > Arrange > Position > More Layout Options > Advance Layout > Position > Options > Move Object with text.
To reiterate, I want the image files or file to move with the text and do not know how to lock a written paragraph with image files so that they move together without the image files slipping down to another page or becoming scattered over the document. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
