How to Change Default Font in Word for Mac Changing the default font in any template means that the font is used in every new document that is based on that template. For example, the default font for new blank documents is based on the Normal template. Under the 'View' menu, choose View -> Master -> Slide Master. Then in the master view, choose the type of slide and you want to change default fonts, Then choose the texts you need to change font formats, and choose the font type you want either from Format menu, or the toolbox.

Open a new document and adjust the settings to how you want (includes page margins, font colour, text etc etc). Then 'File>Save As Template...' This will allow you to save the template under the heading 'My Templates'. Now here's how to set it as the default template. Go to 'Preferences' and under 'General' you can either select a new document to show the template chooser, alternatively you can 'Choose' which template you want to default to. Select your desired template and all new documents will now open with this template. Stu ![]() Default Text Editor MacChoose Default Font For Text Edit Mac Tutorial![]() Default Font For Chrome
